Feed Water Adapter Valve - 1/4" Quick Connect, Angle Stop allows users to quickly add a connection between an angle stop valve and a riser when installing water filtration equipment, water dispensers, coffee brewers, or ice makers into a plumbing system. A tough, engineered thermoplastic material minimizes the potential for cross threading, and a removable C-clip allows the installer to switch the handle orientation. The swivel body design allows for easy installation in tight spaces.
This can be converted to either 1/2" NPT or 3/8" Compression plumbing systems.

Attempting to install water filters c/w ultra violet steraliser. Water pipe connection in and out of filter unit has "U" shaped clips to lock small flexible pipes supplied in kit. BUT Feed water valve does not have facility for this clip. Pipe goes into fitting without much resistance and pulls out easily. NO CLIP. Turn on water, and pipe blows out. How is the pipe clipped in??
Feed water has a place for the clip. It's right at the inlet where the tube goes in. The tube won't come out unless it's not pushed in properly. You have to push the tube in till you hear a faint click sound. Once you do this, you won't require the clip even.
